Film Interpretation is a detailed, hands-on course that provides in-depth training in radiographic techniques and film interpretation. Radiographic testing is one of the most commonly used methods to evaluate a material's internal integrity, but the process requires the inspector to understand several key factors to ensure the best imaging technique is selected. This course is designed to guide students through these critical factors and facilitate their certification process.
The course includes 16 hours of hands-on training, where students will review a wide range of radiographs from different manufacturing and welding processes. This hands-on experience will help solidify their ability to interpret images accurately and identify critical defects.
Upon successful completion, students will receive 40 total hours of accredited classroom training and a Classroom Certificate, with knowledge assessed through an exam.
This course meets the requirements in accordance with SNT-TC-1A, CP189, NAS410, and outline of CP105.
